The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.
Environmental degradation is the deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources such as air, water and soil; the destruction of ecosystems and the extinction of wildlife. The primary cause of environmental degradation is human disturbance.
Environmental awakening must happen at the school level in the brain development stages of an individual, so that it remains as a fundamental learning aspect that comes into every act of his. Keeping this in mind, our school has taken various steps regarding environmental protection and its awareness. Now let's delve into the various drives and projects undertaken by our school to promote environmental awareness.
At our school we are well aware that the journey to a thousand miles begins with a single step. We have tried our best to take that step forward by taking on several initiatives. This however is just the beginning and we realize that we still have a long way to go. We will keep making conscious efforts to advocate environmental awareness and help our country to become cleaner and greener.
As the american president Mr. Barack Obama rightly quoted-” that we are the first generation to feel the effect of climate change and the last generation who can do something about it”
